Many still need the gospel. Others are looking for a faithful, gospel-centered church rooted in Reformed theology. That's why Conexão exists. Muitos ainda precisam do evangelho. Outros buscam uma igreja fiel, centrada no evangelho e enraizada na teologia reformada. É por isso que a Conexão existe.
Connection Conexão
Conexão is the Portuguese word for "Connection." Many immigrants arrive in a new country feeling disconnected, overwhelmed, and uncertain where they belong. Our desire is to help them experience authentic Christian community because no one was made to walk alone. Muitos imigrantes chegam a um novo país sentindo-se desconectados, sobrecarregados e sem saber onde pertencem. Nosso desejo é ajudá-los a experimentar uma comunidade cristã autêntica, porque ninguém foi feito para caminhar sozinho.
More importantly, we want every person to discover the greatest connection of all: a restored relationship with God through Jesus Christ. Mais importante, queremos que cada pessoa descubra a maior conexão de todas: um relacionamento restaurado com Deus por meio de Jesus Cristo.
God Is Already Gathering His People Deus Já Está Reunindo Seu Povo
Our family arrived in Central Florida on July 3 to begin planting Conexão. On July 5, we gathered for the first time with families who have already begun walking alongside us. It was a joyful reminder that God is already preparing people before a church even exists. In August, we will launch our Core Group Meetings, where we'll share the vision, mission, and values of Conexão. Nossa família chegou à Flórida Central em 3 de julho para começar a plantar a Conexão. Em 5 de julho, nos reunimos pela primeira vez com famílias que já começaram a caminhar conosco. Foi uma lembrança alegre de que Deus já está preparando pessoas antes mesmo de uma igreja existir. Em agosto, lançaremos nossos Encontros do Grupo Central, onde compartilharemos a visão, missão e valores da Conexão.
